ACOA is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It offers a five year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course approved by Council of Architecture.

The first year B.Arch. course focuses on the development of various skills and the language of expression required by students of Architecture; from the second year to the fourth year B.Arch. students tackle subjects such as Architecture design, technical subjects that support the design assignments and subjects like History of Architecture and Humanities.

B.Arch. students are expected to complete a Design Dissertation and Thesis along with electives and supporting technical subjects in the fifth year. In the second year half of the year students undergo professional training for 16 weeks in offices where architects are employed. Over the five years students also attend seminars, workshops, guest lectures by eminent architects and professionals and go on study tours and also visits.
